Renaissance US Growth Investment Trust plc

The principal activity of the Company is to conduct business as an investment trust.

The Company's investment objective is to achieve capital growth and outperform its benchmark, the Russell 2000 Index. The Company invests primarily in privately placed common stock, preferred stock and convertible debentures issued by quoted US listed companies which generally have market capitalisations of less than $500 million at the time of investment, although from time to time the Company also invests in unlisted US companies with similar characteristics.

It is the Company's policy not to invest in UK listed investment companies, including listed investment trusts. The Directors do not envisage any major changes in the Manager's investment approach in the foreseeable future.

The Company's Manager, RENN Capital Group, is based in Dallas and has a thorough understanding of the US economic climate, plus a thirty-four year track record in identifying growth opportunities in US smaller companies.
